For the new Winter 2021 collection, Yoga Jeans had the chance to collaborate with some very talented photographers.
We are happy to introduce you the portraits of the inspiring, beautiful, energetic and strong women & entrepreneurs behind the camera.
We were fortunate to collaborate with the luminous photographer Bianca des Jardins for our New Winter 2021 collection. We invite you to dive into her world and discover the woman behind the camera.
INTERVIEW Get to know her betteR
Q1. Introduce yourself in a few words & since when were you interested in photography?
A: «I am very inspired by all that lives and all that is light, I often sail between several universes. I've been doing photography for 11 years now, including 7 years full time. My main focus is on the wellness industry, ethical fashion and weddings - all around the world.»
Q2. What makes you passionate about photography?
A: «Capturing moments & essences, telling a story and the symbiosis of co-creation with the sun.»
Q3. Your favorite camera, the one you can't live without?
A: «In my heart, my favorite is my 35mm film camera, the Canon A1. But for its practical side, my Canon 5D Mark IV.»
Q4. How would you describe your style of photography (your aesthetics, your signature, etc.)?
A: «Light art floating between softness and adventure - they say I know how to make the dark shine.»
Q5. What are your greatest sources of inspiration? (architecture, books, Instagram account, photographers, etc.)
A: «My main muse is light, but I would say my greatest source of inspiration comes from film. Otherwise, the work of the following artists inspires me a lot : @aldoumassie , @jonnajinton , @huiuh_ , @helloemilie , @pierrot , @linascheynius , @vivienne.mok.»
Q6. When a company approaches you for collaboration, what are you looking for in terms of values?
A: «Authenticity, transparency, ethical concern and a certain space for creativity.»
Q7. What does your Self-Care routine look like?
A: «Lighting candles and incense, preparing a hot drink, meditation, yoga, music, writing, tarot & breathing.»
Q8. Your top 3 places that you dream about:
A: «The mountains, the enchanted forests and the waterfront - on the country side; Ireland, India and Western Canada are a must.»
Q9. Your GO-TO jeans (Skinny jeans, Girlfriend Jeans, Wide Jeans, etc.)
A: «I'm more of a casual pants type in general, but I would say very flared!»
Q10. Which women inspires you?
A: «Among others, Frida Kahlo, Jane Goodall, Rupi Kaur, Malala Yousafzai, Autumn Peltier & Emma Watson.»
Q11. In closing, if you had to describe Yoga Jeans in three words, you would say:
A: «Timeless, stylish, comfortable.»

Bianca des Jardins photographed part of the Winter 2021 Collection for Yoga Jeans. Its warm colors and rich fabrics plunge us into an atmosphere that is both vintage and romantic. This campaign is fully illuminated by natural light. This plays an essential role in transporting the work to a whole new dimension revealing sensitivity and emotion.
